Website hosting is something largely overlooked by clients. Sure we have a domain name, but website hosting? If you have a small brochure website design or a large CMS website design, your website will still need a place to live. This is where areliable and professional website hosting service comes in.
Website hosting in good company
Our website hosting service is only available to our clients who are in need of website hosting. Primarily we are a website design company and as such do not specialise in website hosting. However, over the years our website development team, and clients alike, have had to deal with many website hosting companies. Most of which, it has to be said, do not like to make life easy. They can be overly technical, or you realise that they are reading from a technical support sheet and do not actually know what they are talking about when it comes to your specific questions.
So we decided to set up our own dedicated website hosting server. This is managed by Rackspace on our behalf and is only available to our clients. As such, you will not find your website keeping bad company. We do not work with, nor host, any gambling or pornography websites, for example. Your site would be one of many legitimate website projects that we work on, from flash website design to e-commerce website design.
We also limit the number of websites on our server to ensure that the website hosting server's resources are never maxed out.
Website hosting packages
To keep life as simple as possible for our website design and development clients, we have devised a couple of website hosting packages.
The more normal website service companies will, once signed up, give you a username and password to allow you to log on to your website hosting control panel and administer your own. Then any assistance, or support, that you may need, would usually be charged to you and any extra requests above the agreed specification of your package, such as extra email addresses, turning on a specific technology, such as PHP or ASP, would then also result in more charges. We can operate in the same way by offering our website hosting standard package.
However, just about all of our website clients opt for our website hosting managed package. This would see you still have access, but instead of having to lift a finger, we would look after everything for you. You would, when necessary, just speak to your website project manager and anything you need, we will amke happen, without you lifting a finger.

As our dedicated website hosting server is managed by Rackspace, we also benefit from their '24/7 Fanatical Supoort' - and when they say fanatical they really do mean it!
Just about all of our client's requests can be managed by our website development and project management team internally, as we have direct access to our website hosting server, but for anything with which we need assistance, we have the talented support team of Rackspace to assist us to resolve any outstanding issues in a very timely fashion.
